Our MBI focuses on Business Innovation Management. It provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to help start or leverage Innovation in their organizations. Yes, the MBI program is accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education.

The MBI courses will be offered on Saturdays in the Main Campus located on 9/1 Moo 5 Phaholyothin Road, Klong Nueng, Klong Luang, Pathumthani 12120

We expect each cohort to be composed of no more than 30 students. Since the MBI program opened, usual cohorts have included from 12 to 18 students. This effective allow an optimal application of the experiential and problem-based pedagogy. Students work in teams of 4 to 6 persons.

The entry exam is composed of a written test, used to assess the student's main personality traits, logic and general reasoning skills, and of an interview with the MBI Director or a member of the MBI Faculty. The interview last around 20 minutes. The interview has several objectives: 1) assess the applicant's motivation to get into the MBI program, 2) evaluate the applicant’s profile adequacy with the vision, mission, and values of the MBI program, and 3) measure the applicant’s knowledge about innovation.

If the applicant is leaving outside Bangkok or Thailand, or if the applicant cannot conduct the interview face to face for any other reason, the entry examination and the interview can be organized online.

To apply for the MBI program scholarship, please fill in in the scholarship application form.

The required documents to apply are:

  • Application form
  • Official Bachelor’s degree-level transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation from employers and/or previous instructors
  • Two photos (1 inch)
  • English Test Results
  • Resume or CV in Englis
  • A copy of ID/Passport
  • A letter of motivation in which you are expected to explain your reasons for joining the MBI program.

There is no application fee.

Admission to the MBI program is considered for applicants who fulfill the following entry requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, in any filed from local or overseas educational institutions as recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education
  • Have proficient command of English language skills, equivalent to a TOEFL score of 520 on the PBT, 190 on the CBT, 68 on the IBT, or an IELTS with a score of 6.0. (TOEFL/IELTS results are valid for 2 years). Any applicant who has not obtained the required score will be required to pass an English Professional Test from Bangkok University.

We welcome bachelor students who graduated from engineering, sciences, fine arts, social sciences, business and design as well as professionals such as engineers, marketing officers, managers, R&D officers and designers working in Thailand and abroad.

Yes, the transcript has to be translated in English.

The process is the same as for local students and the entry exam will be conducted online.

Once accepted in the program, Bangkok University will help the student obtain a student visa to come and study in Thailand.

The current cost of the full MBI is 550,000 THB. Students can apply to get a 40% scholarship, that will lower down the cost to 330,000 THB. This cost includes textbooks. Please contact us for more details.

Yes you can apply for the MBI scholarship which gives you a deduction of 40% (270,000 THB) of the full cost.
